A have never been treated, so rudly in my entire life! We wanted to cancel our order, because of a long waiting time, we have been approached by a ANGRY member of staff. Aggressive body language and verbal abuse, was very scary. If that is how you run restaurant business in Germany, then Good Luck! After internet research it happens to be a husband of one of the owners. My advice get that person out of there, before he will ruin your business completely! You spent so much money on design but missed two key factors good food and customer service. My only regret, that I have not handled it differently.

The Rathausbraeu was the only restaurant in town which was open when we arrived early afternoon in Michelstadt, and it was here that we headed to enjoy a lunch consisting of basic German food, Spaetzle. They were excellent as was the beer and the service by the fluent English-speaking young waitress. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the following evening.

Have been here a number of times before. This time we had a small group and were eating lunch before the Carnival parade. Food was really good. We all enjoyed what we ordered. Service was friendly and helpful. A nice place to eat and visit!

We were in Michelstad for one night and we were recommended to try this restaurant for dinner. We were not dissapointed. The food was great (local) and the beer was great. The restaurant itself is pretty cozy as is the little town center.

I had a fish dish in this cosy restaurant right in the middle of the centre of Michelstadt. Taste was quite good although I had the idea I was eating a different fish than ordered. The price was surely affordable.
