in general is the first brewery of the odenwalde in the old town of michelstadt, at the historic rathaus, right behind the Protestant city church. ideal for parking is very close to the large parking lot for cars and recently also for living. surroundings from outside, through the large window front they have the copper needle boiler right in front of them. we were looking for a little in the gas garden on the headstone asphalt road. the biertic set for partly with rest back are well shielded, the apartment under free sky was therefore very pleasant. the gastgarten is a meeting point for old and young. we have been eating brown in the rat house for years and are not yet disappointed. Eating is wonderful, usually regional cuisine with an additional menu with seasonal feed or theme food. the beer is brewed, the braterei and the flieder also. the 52% black mark is recommended. the personal changes and is so much friendly. if possible, special requests are met. sometimes jessica is also black, whose parents (or brother?) work locally, as they say. I met women black today. overall highly recommended, the prices are reasonable.

If we're in Michelstadt, we'll always like to get here. This time, we had the feeling that the quality has left something behind. The food (beer and beer goulash) was ok, but tastefully rather boring. To the potato corners have lost some absolutely black burned and completely dried bread potatoes, which was very disappointing.

We had a great evening in the brewery. But there were a lot of things, and we have to say that Christmas was also the market. The beer tastes really great, all freshly tapped, very nice attentive staff. The wine is also very good. We didn't eat anything, but we're back and then some food. Thanks for the nice evening. Have been here a number of times before. This time we had a small group and were eating lunch before the Carnival parade. Food was really good. We all enjoyed what we ordered. Service was friendly and helpful. A nice place to eat and visit!

We were in Michelstad for one night and we were recommended to try this restaurant for dinner. We were not dissapointed. The food was great (local) and the beer was great. The restaurant itself is pretty cozy as is the little town center.

I had a fish dish in this cosy restaurant right in the middle of the centre of Michelstadt. Taste was quite good although I had the idea I was eating a different fish than ordered. The price was surely affordable.
