This was our first visit to this bar/restaurant. We went with our son and two grandchildren for dinner on a Thursday evening which was half-price ribs night. The MBC is located on the outskirts of the town, It is a Canadian-style micro brewery and restaurant, making and serving its own beers of different types. The mains are primarily of the steak, burger, pork ribs variety although they also serve good salads. The beautifully grilled ribs ( served with chips and a tasty saurkraut ) are particularly good and on this night were great value, only 10€ instead of the usual 20€. My wife's falafel salad ( large portion), which she enjoyed, was 16.50€.The bar was very well patronised ( in fact, it was heaving inside ) on the night we were there, maybe it was the attraction of the discounted ribs or the different beers available but I understand that it does get busy most nights. I was glad that, as a family group, we took a table outside by the street. If you fancy a delicious ribs dinner, you will certainly not be disappointed at the MBC, especially if you go on a Thursday. Recommended.

I've visited this place numerous times over the years. There menu is mostly build up on burgers and snacks, as well as several decent meat dishes. The food is always nicely served and good quality, with nice side dishes. On top of that you get a good selection of local beer. What is probably the best about this place is that the kitchen opens the whole day and this is incredibly rare in France or Switzerland. Now the service is what suffers recently. I remember meeting there some of the most attentive and smiling waitress, but recently it's rather long wait, never coming bill etc.

I am so happy that this good old place is still alive and kicking in Chamonix. They make the best beer in town (Granite is a killer) as far as I know and they have a lot to choose from. They have not change much the last 15years and I love that. This place might be the most important to visit after Aiguille du Midi. So, don’t miss it, they got decent food to and I highly recommend the beer testing plate.

We drank a tasting flight of 6 beers. All the beer s was really good. If you like other beers than a blonde it's your place! The food was average like other micro brewery. Hamburger, salads, french fries. The price for everything was not cheap BUT you are in Chamonix! Nothing is cheap
