I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. The soda was served warm, which was off-putting right from the start. The mozzarella sticks were not only bad-tasting, but when I took a bite, greasy oil oozed out. Both the Caesar salad and coleslaw were drenched in dressing, making them inedible. The fries seemed old; they were clearly reheated and heavily oversalted—it's rare for me to complain about saltiness, but this was too much even for my taste. The ribs seemed to have been cooked days in advance, and I struggled to get any meat off the bone, as it was tough and stringy. To top it off, they slathered on a terrible barbecue sauce. Great place to grab a drink and a bite to eat! Bar downstairs is very fun, and has large TVs for sports and entertainment. The upstairs dining area also has the TVs, but is better for a sit-down meal. I had the Corn-On-The-Hog pizza which I've never seen anywhere else, and it was delicious! The whole place is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend Midland Brew House whether you're getting dinner with the whole family or just hanging out at the bar.
Very good looking place inside and out. Amazing draft beer choices, and I have always found clean pour lines. Unfortunately, basic food like the hot wings, sometimes a hit or miss. I even had it served reheated with gobbs of sauce all over the wings. Service could be better... you will find front staff congregating in packs with their cell phones out. Clean-up staff are all excellent... they are fast and efficient. Men's restroom could use a bit TLC.
Great food menu, drinks are really delicious. Bartenders are friendly and efficient. Fun spot for a date night or to visit with friends. Upstairs is more like a busy bar/club, downstairs is a more calm bar. Restaurant portion is open until 11p-ish. I park across the street or in the valet. The bacon appetizer is so yummy. I had a business lunch and sat in a booth. The service was just okay—not great—but the burgers were quite good. There aren't many dining options in the area, so I would consider returning, but be sure to place your order with the hostess to avoid a long wait. Also, the parking situation is limited, and they only offer valet service, which I’m not a fan of since I prefer not to have others driving my car.
I got recommended to come here for my 21st birthday and the bouncer outside on 6/24/23 10 pm did not make me feel welcomed at all. Totally made me feel unwelcome for my first time going to a bar, he Made a white joke about me while I was walking away in front of my friends and family (I was the first one to walk in and I’m mixed race. very unprofessional from the start.
This spot was a random find for a late night place to eat and for drinks. Glad I found it as it seems to be a popular and fun bar with tasty food. Ordered the MBH burger with fries and it did not disappoint with the oozing pub cheese. When I visit NJ again, I will look to visit again in trying a mix of their food and drinks!
My boyfriend and I dined here and chose to sit at the bar, where we were served by Brenda, the bartender. She was absolutely fantastic! I would return just to experience her service again.
