It was a busy Sat night with a large private wine dinner. We sat at a bar area table, as other options were booked. It was cold there, as outside door frequently opened curtains into dining area usually opened by hostesses. Our waitress was excellent but she couldn’t make up for the setting or food. My husband had the Burrata with Asian pear appetizer seared Rockfish entree, both of which he found adequate but not memorable. I had Chestnut soup (with smoked bacon savoy cabbage) Sage cavatelli pasta (with pumpkin, brown butter, amaretti poached egg). The soup was bland, with no flavors of chestnut or bacon. It was our first visit to this restaurant, and we were truly impressed with the venue and the staff. The manager took the time to chat with us, and she was exceptionally kind. Our server was fantastic as well. The food was good, but not exceptional. The portion sizes were quite small for the price, and despite sharing an appetizer and each having our own main course, I found myself still feeling hungry. This is a lovely place for a special occasion or to impress a date, but perhaps not the best choice if you're really hungry. Overall, it’s a very nice restaurant.
We had heard great things about this place and decided to celebrate our anniversary there! Anna was our server and she was helpful and attentive. The wine and food were both excellent! My husband had the filet mignon and I had the Rockfish! We were both happy with our selections! The honey butter is amazing. We started with the pork rind appetizer which was a unique take on the pork rinds I grew up eating out of the bag!!!! Dessert was good too. Definitely hope to go back again and again!
The dining experience was fantastic, and the atmosphere was wonderful, with an intimate vibe. The dishes were beautifully presented. The menu features smaller portion sizes, designed for a three-course meal, which I really appreciate. It seems intended to encourage a leisurely dining experience, but I found the service—especially in terms of beverage and food delivery—to be uncomfortably slow. Réservez une table maintenant
Although the food was very good and our server was attentive, it took so long, at least 25 minutes to get a drink from the bar, that it put a damper on the experience. The food was also rather slow coming out and the Chestnut soup, although very tasty, was not hot, just warm. Would hesitate to go back because of the long waiting.
