We're from a different state but were really craving sushi. This was one of the only sushi places in the area which made us skeptical but the reviews seemed good. Our suspicions were warranted after our experience with this place. Since this is the only sushi place in town they don't prioritize quality since they have a monopoly in this area. No competition means that if you want sushi this is the only place to go. Sushi was lacking and not fresh, server was sassy, and atmosphere was weird and awkward. I visited this restaurant for the first time and was met with only a nod as a greeting. I mentioned that I was there for lunch after dropping off my car at Englewood Ford and that I intended to do some work while I ate. Unfortunately, there was no response. I had to ask for lemon for my water three times before it was finally brought to me, and there was no friendly inquiry about how I was doing. When the lemon finally arrived, I thanked the server, but received no response, so I awkwardly said, "You're welcome." If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit. I highly recommend trying the Filet and Chicken Hibachi - both dishes were absolutely outstanding! The food quality and presentation deserve nothing less than a perfect score.
