Midway West Drive-in

After being away for 40 years, I’ve returned home and finally had the chance to eat at Midway. I can’t believe I waited this long! The food is fantastic! I ordered a cheeseburger and onion rings, and both were outstanding! The burger had just the right amount of juiciness, and they provide plenty of napkins to handle it. The onion rings were perfectly cooked! It was pouring rain, but the staff came right to my car to take my order, which I appreciated. The prices are quite reasonable too—my cheeseburger was $4, and the onion rings were also $4. While I think the onion rings could be a bit less expensive, I feel that $8 total for both items is fair. This restaurant was fantastic! My husband and I have a habit of discovering local eateries we come across on Food Network whenever we visit new cities, rather than choosing chain restaurants. So when we planned our trip to Huntington, we were determined to stop by Midway West. It definitely met our expectations! The food and milkshakes were excellent, and the staff was even more impressive. Our son even asked if we would get the opportunity to return to "enjoy the food and meet the nice people."

Absolutely outstanding. I’m a resident of Ashland and we dine here once a month. I've been there around 100 times over the years, and they always deliver. The cheeseburgers and fries are top-notch. The staff is extremely friendly, and many have been with the restaurant for years. It's also incredibly clean. I’m never let down by this place.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! It has been a cherished tradition in my life. The barbecue was mouthwatering, and the onion rings were crispy and downright decadent. The wait staff stared at us for about 15 minutes before finally taking our order. The waiter was rude, cutting us off and rushing away before we were finished. However, the food was good and served hot.

Everything is amazing! This is the only spot in town where I can order a chocolate, peanut butter, and banana milkshake with a hint of marshmallow, and they prepare it without hesitation.
