Eating great vegan food at a world class seafood and oyster bar should be an impossible order. But the charming head chef of Mignonette; Chef Oriole went out of his way to satisfy my demanding vegan palette as well as my wife’s “bring on the shell fish” desires. Mignonette, is owned by the respected Chef Daniel Serfer who also owns the beloved Blue Collar. We have recently dined at a number of fine and fancy Miami restaurants this season that do not have vegan specific menu items- and have reluctantly or refused to accommodate me. But not Chef Oriole. Mignonette is exceptional. The service, the food, the wine, and the ambiance are all executed beautifully. There is nothing stuffy or pretentious about Mignonette; the staff is friendly and engaging. We felt welcome immediately. Achraf and Shaun elevated the meal with their knowledge, kindness, and helpful suggestions. Remarkable service. Mignonette is a must. The care given to the ingredients is apparent. Everything we ate was beautifully balanced. The red sauce mussels are incredibly worthy of extra bread for sauce mopping. Absolutely lovely staff and restaurant, delicious food! I got the lobster deviled eggs, the red fish, and the butterscotch bread pudding, my husband got the oyster sampler, the black grouper, and the carrot cake. We forgot to take pictures of our entrees or the dessert, everything was so delicious! We love coming to Miami for our anniversary, and we'll be coming back to Mignonette Downtown next year. Shout out to our server, Carmen, who was very attentive and made us feel very welcome.

I took advantage of a fantastic Miami Spice deal where you can choose an appetizer and entrée from the main menu. The food was outstanding! I ordered the octopus as my appetizer, followed by two lobster tails served with sweet potato wedges and polenta. For dessert, I had the bread pudding, which was delicious. I also sampled my friend's appetizer, the diver scallop, and it was excellent as well. The service was top-notch too! Réservez une table maintenant

The fried oysters were seasoned so well!! They were delicious! The lobster was good, but I wish it was served warmer. The cheesecake was decent. My friends loved their fish. Seasoned to perfection was their comment. I also liked ny crabcake. The cornbread was very good, too. I would definitely give this place another try.

Easily top 5 of seafood restaurants I've eaten at. Went looking for a within walking distance of our hotel. I had the Red Fish with rice and shrimp and my wife had the Crispy Snapper with Cabbage and sweet potato both seasoned amazingly!!! I was not expecting to eat this well at all!!! Great service as well!!!

Attention to every detail, from being seated by Ashley to the service by the Ty Thh hi is waiter and assistant waiter Danny and Ray. All contributed to a very pleasant evening. My compliments to the chef and I cannot say enough about the quality of the cuisine because it was exceptional.

The service was outstanding, but the food left something to be desired. The crab cake was cold in the center, the steak was average, and the slice of carrot cake was thin and lacking in flavor. On the bright side, the service truly was excellent. Réservez une table maintenant

I visited this restaurant for a solo dinner while I was in town on a business trip. I sat at the bar and received excellent service, making for a wonderful experience. It’s a fantastic spot for solo travelers!
