I typically don't write negative reviews easily, as I understand the impact they can have on small businesses, especially during a pandemic. However, I decided to give My Joes another try today after a disappointing experience last time. Unfortunately, it took over two and a half hours for my food to be delivered, and when it finally arrived, it was freezing cold. The mushrooms and black pudding were undercooked, and my daughter couldn't even eat her burger and chips because they were not only cold, but also soggy. I have been coming here from Jan 2019 to present. The food has changed over that time in terms of quality. Since the original owner has taken over the quality has gone back up. The staff here (and the owner) are truly amazing and welcoming people. I cannot stress that enough or tell enough stories about how they wonderful they have been to me and other customers. (From my first time walking by when I moved nearby, to my first meal, to them knowing all my regular orders based on when I show up, to just how warm and friendly everyone is). I have dined at this restaurant before and was highly impressed the first time. Today, I decided to try two different meats and was not let down. I am so pleased as not only was the meal delicious, but it was also cooked perfectly. The vegetables were fresh and cooked just right, not overdone. I was even able to save half of the meal for tomorrow. The portions were generous and the price was more than worth it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Thank you for keeping us all fed, your food is truly amazing.
Pre-ordered a Hot Beef, onion and mushroom sub and Home-made chips for my son and it was delicious. Cheese cakes are to die for, but they sell fast so you have to get in there quickly before they're gone and the portions are a good size for the prices, if you wanna fill your bellies.
