Mike’s Steakhouse Nürnberg

To be completely honest, if this is the best steakhouse in the city, I don't want to imagine the others! The restaurant is impersonal, cold, old fashion, just tables and chairs, personally I didn't like. The service is good, I was accepted well, both the...waiter and the bartender were really kind. I ordered the rib-eye which come with baked potato with cream and salat. The salat was mixed and all together with the same French dress, could be improved. The meat was ok, cooked as desired. The potato was also ok. Let's say nothing was excellent, just average meal. Price was ok.

I'm an American ex-pat, living in Nürnberg. Shortly after I arrived I inquired about getting a good steak and was sent here. EKU is not bad, but it's not more than mediocre. My suggestion for travelers visiting Nürnberg is to stick to the traditional Francoian...food. I here are places to get a good steak in Bavaria, but if your a visitor stick to the local fair it is wonderful.

It was awesome. Food was delicious and fresh. The staff was friendly. The atmosphere is in another level, very elegant without exaggerations. I think it's a very good spot to take someone in a date. I'll definitely will go back. I just wish they had a menu in English available. Pd: I highly recommend the Ratatouille-Gemüse, it was mouth-watering.

Steak was good, but nothing special. Choice of wines not great. Prices are a bit too high. The atmosphere is that of an average German Bierstube the whole experience might have been better if they did something with the interior and the tables, at...the moment it looks very boring and dated. After a long day working my daughter and I had a great steak dinner at Mike's Steakhouse. Our ribeye steaks were grilled perfectly and the sides were wonderful as well. I can easily say that this was the best steak I have eaten outside the...USA.
