Just phenomenal! Found this by accident and decided to stop in to grab subs for the beach. Absolutely wonderful experience. The owner was so nice and friendly. You can tell he really cares if people are happy with their purchase and he was very personable. Definitely started our day off on the right foot. We ate the sandwiches about 4 hours later and at that point all the flavors had time to meld together. They were the absolute perfect beach lunch! We will be back without a doubt!
It’s a walk back in time to a simple deli that’s open, bright, airy and super clean... No frills, just cozy and friendly, with delicious absolutely fresh food, from the rolls to the cold cuts and accoutrements, carefully constructed to have just the right proportions…no slimy, gooey subs here!! The guys are so friendly and warm, and go out of their every to make you comfortable. Love it!!
Mikes offers the best subs in Monmouth County, without a doubt. They’ve completely spoiled me, as I refuse to eat subs from anywhere else. The bread is incredibly fresh! When I’m watching my carb intake, I choose the sub in a tub, which is a great alternative. No one can compare to this place, especially with its super friendly staff, who are all family!

Paul makes a great hefty sandwich for the money. Get it Mike's way. The shop is family owned and operated. I believe that they are closed on Monday.
I've been visiting this place for about 20 years, and their subs are absolutely amazing! The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the Italian Special, and I have to say, it was the BEST sub I have gotten ANYWHERE!! I highly recommend Mike's Subs
