Mike's Penn Ave Grille

Went there to have dinner after a funeral with a good sized group and was put in three tables pushed together and nicely asked if we could move somewhere and they went and came back and basically told us it’s too inconvenient for them to get another table and waitress to cover us. We said it was okay and moved on with the meal. The food was mostly trash and we just wanted the night to be over but the owner kept badgering us and saying it was her and her husbands like it was going to make her being rude and the food being trash better. Food is fantastic! Stopped for lunch lunch on a whim. Haven't been here in years. I was blown away. Did not expect the quality of food I received. Entree, side and dessert were all top notch. Crab stuffed whitefish, broccoli w/ cheese sauce and blueberrycheesecake to die for. Flavorful and presented with flair. I can't wait to come back and try some more offerings. Sat at thebar. The barmaid Olga gave me excellent service, and was polite and friendly. All around great place to eat and drink. ????????

Space is a bit cramped but the staff and food are great. The check for 5 people was what it costs me for my family of three other places, so very family friendly and great prices. The place was clean and didn't have that usual bar smell, I love it. Ihave recommended it to several people already and will be going back very soon

Friendly and tasty. I got a fish sandwich and it was good with fresh cut frys. Some of the people I was with ordered steaks and paid about the same as me. About $13. They were happy so next time is steak time I think.

Absolutely phenomenal service. Our waitress was very busy and did a wonderful job. A couple errors in our food that they were more than happy to fix the mistakes. Thank you for the great dining experience!

Excellent menu. Loved the seafood platter and Walleye. Cheesecakes are truly the best. Seated us without reservations. Family atmosphere. Going back.
