Mike's is a small BBQ link right in front of the 1st street if you are on the way to all shopping opportunities Blue Ridge has to offer. You were advised that the place is small, but that's not a bad thing at all. The atmosphere is quite rustic, which is appropriate in view of the food they serve. I applauded Mike for the brisket because it's probably the best I had in the Blue Ridge/Ellijay area. It certainly has the best smoke taste I tasted in this area. The meat had a decent smoke ring, but the center was also pink, as in pink like a medium cooked steak. I often smoke my own brisket and have never experienced it, but it is not a complaint. The side of the cinnamon apples I had were delicious like the beans. The restaurant is so small that during the pandemic it seems difficult to social distance. Unfortunately, none of the staff seemed to mask what was disappointing, but in the week I was in Blue Ridge, it is with most of the places I had eaten. Will definitely be back for the next time.
We stopped for lunch it was excellent!!! I had the chicken sandwich and pinto beans. Best Pinto beans I've ever had! My husband had the bride, baked bean, and it's his new fave place. The mother-in-law is homemade and amazing the woman works (which was very nice) said it was the entrance of her mother. We will definitely be back!!! I can't wait to try the bullshit!
Yeah. Holy cow, this place has some delicious grill. My wife and I pulled pork sandwiches. I had baked beans, and she had the Mt. Dew brewed apples as a side. The pig had the perfect amount of smoke taste. The baked beans were exceptional. The wife loved the brewed apples. We like to visit the area and compile our list of favorite places to eat. This is a guard!
We ate here during our stay in Blue Ridge and it was absolutely brilliant food. Great staff and smell of smoke were simply amazing. My son absolutely loved the Mac and cheese and she even gave him another help for free. We will definitely return when we come back for our holiday in August.
