This restaurant is a delightful find. As a Puerto Rican with a passion for Peruvian cuisine, I was excited to visit, especially for their tostones, which can’t be found anywhere else in the valley. I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity and incredible taste of the food! Chef Efren is truly skilled and took the time to ask for our feedback on the dishes. We ordered tostones, yucas fritas, ceviche peruano, leche de tigre, chuletas, and passion fruit mousse. Everything was outstanding, and the mousse was absolutely divine. This restaurant is truly a gem!
I tried the fried yucca, the fish of the day, ribeye tacos, avocado stuffed with shrimp, and the seafood pizza. Each dish had its own unique and delicious flavor, and the pizza was the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to bring my friends and visit many more times in the future. I have never been disappointed! This restaurant is fantastic for good food!!! Lots of thumbs up!
Absolutely Delish! Savory fresh absolutely satisfying. The calamari was tender , caprese salad aromatic with freshly cut basil, fantastic olive oil and calasamuc bengal reduction prime rib Pizza ..... oh my goodness .... the wine was paired beautifully with the meal ... I cannot wait t return work my way through the menu and wine
We stopped by for dessert and tried the Lucuma Cheesecake made from the exotic Lucuma fruit from Peru. It was very pleasant. I highly recommend it. The wait staff was very helpful in suggesting desserts and the chef made a visit to our table. It was a lovely experience.

How not to give them a 5 stars? I have tried Peruvian dishes before and this place has no competition at all. Thank you to a great staff and nice touch when the chef came at our table . You got 5 new happy customers.. By the way , the mouse of maracuyá, súper Deli.!
This was my first visit to Kocina, and I must say it was some of the best food we've ever had. The owner was incredibly attentive, and the waitress was polite and very attentive as well. The prices are reasonable, too. We will definitely be returning!

This restaurant is a GEM in McAllen. It’s beyond delicious!!! Food is beyond my expectations. I totally recommend this restaurant to everyone.
