Milanese - Réservation de table

I just came from here and I'm not happy. I attended a banquet here tonight for which they were only serving chicken parm (and a side salad that consisted of a few greens and one cherry tomato . I cannot eat chicken parm for health reasons, so I called ahead late this afternoon to make sure I could order off of the menu or have a salad made with grilled chicken. The very confused sounding woman who answered (maybe don't let her answer the phone anymore? said yes, I could. Ok, great! I get to the restaurant and the first thing I do is talk to the host to remind them that I will be ordering off of the menu. Ok, yes. No problem. Always an exceptional meal from this family run Italian restaurant in the heart of Poughkeepsie. Calamari was tender and crispy. Pasta was perfect. Steak and shrimp scampi was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Garlic bread is hands down the best around! Not to mention on top of This the service was impeccable. Gianna really sets the bar to new levels from humor to attentiveness I don’t know if anyone could ever match her. Add in that if you’re lucky the family patriarch does table side magic for the kids. Our kids are mesmerized and baffled and always ask to go back! Don’t hesitate, you won’t be disappointed!

Shout out to Milanese Italian Restaurant I went to meet family last night and I was seriously dreading the potential for me to make a bad choice while I am on a nutrition program. Soooooo many things that I would’ve loved to order, that would so not fit the program. But I was that person and asked for something special and they delivered lots of flavor and I baaaarely stepped outside of my plan. OK I had a bite of my dad’s carbonara. Anyway, thank you for the great dinner dad, fam, and Milanese. We have been coming to this restaurant for at least *my* entire life, and love it!

I’m going to start with WOW!! I had my husbands surprise birthday party there last night and it was amazing!! Even planning the party was easy!! Everyone loved the food! If you need a place to have a party do it here!!! The room was beautiful servers and bartender were great and the owners were amazing!! Thank you soo much again for giving us such a great night and amazing food!!!! Réservez une table maintenant

Food quality has literally not changed in over 40 years. Great service, even on a very busy night and to the person who so rudely yelled at my server because he 'd waited 10 minutes for a menu (he didn 't... I saw when he sat down), all I can say is, Your loss. I was in and out inside of an hour on a very busy Saturday and the food, as always, was amazing.

If you’re undecided about going to eat here let me tell you you MUST go and eat at this restaurant. This was the best food and desert I’ve had in a very long time. And I have been to many restaurants from Canada all the way down to NY and NJ!!! Amazing

If you're familiar with places like Villa Masconi in Greenwich Village or Mama Lombardi's on Long Island, you'll love this. Very authentic Italian diaspora vibe. Stuffed sole was fabulous. Do it!

We had the feeling that this restaurant was once a great place to dine but it now has little competition and looks kinda run down from the exterior. The food and service was only adequate. Réservez une table maintenant

Excellent food, beverages, service, and atmosphere. Visiting from out-of-town and picked Milanese from a list provided by our hotel. We were delightfully surprised!
