The Milestone has always been a favourite of ours, but last time we went on a Saturday evening in a party of 8, it had a new chef and was clearly struggling with small portions, cold food and ingredients missing ie the clams in the mussel and clam dish. So, it was with some trepidation to go back for Sunday lunch using a Groupon voucher that we had been gifted. It was back to top class standard food piping hot, good sized portions and quick and accurate service. So glad Paddy and the team have redeemed themselves and kept a loyal customer.
Went on a Friday evening at 6pm, it was very quiet, afew diners in but by the time we left around 730 it was even quieter (coronavirus? . The food was good, afew dishes could have been hotter and the burger better presented. All tasted fine and we would give it another go sometime.
beautiful meal, good choice. with my wife, who must avoid milk. the advice and the service of the staff were excellent and friendly. the food came immediately and was excellent and good value for money. cocktails were fantastic and desserts were worth the money.
Came here for Sunday lunch on the August bank holiday weekend.__Nice little location Good menu and ok ish service.__Food was alright.

The beetroot salad contained 6 small slices of beetroot small mounds of goat cheese extruded from a frosting gun.

First time and will be back again. Lovely atmosphere, friendly waiter service and great food.
