We stumbled across this place by chance and are very happy we did! It was full to the brims and in a lovely sunny location. We had the zucchini and sweet potato fritters, ham hock croquette Benedict and morning sunrise smoothie plus coffees. The service was great and authentically French. The food was really good. The fritters were nice and crispy and the goats cheese melted in my mouth. We also got the mushrooms as a side which were a highlight. Definitely a must try in the Malvern area!!
This is too cute- really cosy French cafe/ patisserie. Visited for brunch today. Amazing service, great coffee, average eggs (poached on sourdough- barely runny, no butter), toast and beautiful house made jams (again no butter- isn't this place French???), but provided on second ask. Finished with a housemade brownie that was superb. Probably a better patisserie than a cafe, but I'll certainly return.
A very busy little place in a quaint Malvern Street. Not many in side tables, so be prepared to wait. Quality of cakes were good, but not worth the hefty charge... Never been to a Cafe where a small cake/slice is equivalent to ordering an entree. Also the French service was a little over the top and not necessarily needed. Probably won't go back nor recommend it!
A small group met for coffee and cake. Great service at this French inspired eatery.Good coffee and fantastic array of cakes - all shapes and sizes - colourful and hard to choose. Had the raspberry tart - thought I was back in Paris - so good!Only downside is it is a bit noisy - re acoustics - and it was busy mid morning.Salads looked good. Réservez une table maintenant
Was greeted with a happy employee and seated straight away ordered our coffee that was amazing! Best coffee we've had with amazing patisserie on show! Grabbed five cakes to have a taste test couldn't fault one!! Will defiantly be back and will be recommending anyone and everyone to pop in for a coffee
This light filled cafe with great selection of cakes and pastries, stands out in increasingly crowded Melbourne cafe scene. Located in quaint pocket near Malvern railway station. Love the almond croissants Can be very busy on weekends
I visited this lovely cafe as a guest of my Melbourne hosts. The coffee was superb and the cakes even better, particularly the almond croissants. All the pastries are locally made and beautifully presented.
Enjoyed the special of the day : Corn fritters with extra bacon and a piccolo latte. I hear the home grown pastries are good too. Réservez une table maintenant
