Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing from beginning to end. Despite booking a table for 8, we had to change it to accommodate 5 due to illness. Upon arrival, they seated us at a table for 4, forcing us to request an additional table. The manager's response to this request was less than pleasant. We waited nearly half an hour for our food order to be taken and only received half of our drinks order. Went for the first time in years at the weekend. Lovely atmosphere, very attentive staff, it was very busy the wait on food wasn’t too long considering how busy it was. Starters garlic bread were delicious . My main came was very disappointing, however, the waiter was very apologetic brought me the menu to choose another option. The replacement meal was cooked fresh and was very nice. We were offered complimentary drinks, by way of an apology, as we had to eat our mains separately. Party of four with a varied choice between us, everyone’s meal was lovely, steaks cooked to perfection and we had a very fussy member of our party who never says that ! The restaurant was very busy and yet the staff managed to make each table feel like they were the only ones there. Think going round to your favourite Italian aunt and being able to order what you wanted and this is the vibe of the place. Excellent value for money good wine which was not over priced. Will definitely be returning as will our friends.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is very friendly. My mother, who had not been to a restaurant in over 3 years due to Covid and being vulnerable, finally got to order her long-awaited steak rossini on her birthday. She was not disappointed, as she found it delicious! I also enjoyed my beef stroganoff, which was beautiful. The prices may be expensive, but it is worth it for a special treat. I would definitely come back again!

My first visit last evening. A delicious meal with a very good choice of dishes. Superbly cooked, and attractively presented. Good wine, and very pleasant and welcoming service. I highly recommend this restaurant and very much look forward to my next visit!
Nice restaurant, with nice staff who work hard. I had calamari for starters which I did not enjoy as they were under seasoned and bland, however I went for a steak Rossini for my main (medium rare) which was cooked to perfection and really enjoyable.
This charming little restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The waiter was incredibly friendly and made my husband and I feel very welcome. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We are looking forward to returning soon!
My wife and I come here every now and then. Never had a bad meal and we’re always taken care of by the staff. The food is excellent. My wife loves the Rossini and I normally get the Tortellini special. Highly recommend.

We have eaten at Mimmos for many years but haven’t been for a long time. We were very pleasantly surprised by not only the quality food but also the service and ambience. We would definitely recommend and return.
The staff were brilliant and looked after us. Food top notch as ever, so reasonably priced as well. Other similar places in FY5 and Poulton are twice as dear and nowhere near as good.
