Mines D'asphalte - Réservation de table

Oddly enough, we ate ham cooked on asphalt, an interesting and tasty dish, apparently served every day on December 4 in the company and recreated, from 1991, by the current Café das Minas. I liked the partnership with the asphalt beer of the house, with its smoky touch easily recognizable, without being aggressive, structure and also elegance. Asphalt things look good on asphalt things, I thought at that moment.

We visited the museum and the mine with two under-aged kids and we all loved it! Our guide was bilingual and definitely knew her subject. We haven't tasted the famous ham baked in a bath of asphalt, but apparently it is a must-to-do.

after visiting a asphalt mine, we tried the restaurant ,the menu was simple but it gave you an opportunity to taste ham cooked smoked in asphalt,a unique taste how things were done in the past. In fact it tasted very good
