Great place for Thursday night burgers special at your freindly neighborhood pub. We were staying at the Windtower and were looking for a place close by for dinner. On our walk to downtown we stumbled upon the Mineshaft. The place was pleasantly quite and there was no wait we were seated right away. Service was top notch and quick!. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and awesome background music. We were blown away by the quality. The burgers hit the spot the bacon was crispy, lettuce and tomato were fresh and the cheese was cheesy. It’s a pub that is attached to a seniors home. It’s an excellent way to bring our seniors and community together. The menu is limited but what they do; they do very well. Loved the burger and salad. It’s like many of the local pubs in the UK that bring the entire community together. We will be going back. Next time you struggle to get a family reservation on a Saturday evening; I would suggest you look them up.

Ordered take out while staying in Spring Creek vacation condo. across the street. Great food and take out service. We had the fish and chips and they were crisp and tasty...worthy of being wrapped in newspaper British style! Very Good. We noticed that their was live music when we picked up our food...wish we had ate in. Lots of great beer on tap as well and salt of the earth staff! Just go!

The waitress assured us that everything on the menu was fantastic, and she was absolutely right! We tried three different dishes and they were all truly delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were very reasonable. This place is definitely worth a visit! Réservez une table maintenant

Food was good and fairly priced, for Canada. Service was fast and friendly. Tip for the manager though, don't sit at the bar and complain about staff and lack of profit margins. Unprofessional. That said, it's worth checking out if you're in Canmore.

Best burger in the world! We spent 4 days on Canmore/Banff. We cancelled our restaurants bookings to eat here!!!! I recommand the Mineshaft Burger.Thank you Mineshaft Tavern, we'll miss you. We need you in Montreal!

Ordered Canmore Pale Ale pints and those were delicious. The fish and chips with an extra piece were enough to feed me and my wife, and to top it off the oilers scored while we were eating
