Small restaurant probably seats about No one else here when we arrived at sat evening but was almost full by the time we left.Service was excellent. Nous y sommes allés pour un repas de fête et après des années de visites précédentes, nous avons été totalement déçus. Tout ce qui concerne l'endroit a totalement changé, y compris les chefs, je pense que les repas que nous avons reçus étaient loin d'être aussi bons que lors de visites précédentes. La facture pour cinq d'entre nous était terminée, puis les serveurs traînaient pour un pourboire qui ne se produisait à aucun moment dans cette vie. Je peux seulement dire qu'après des années de fidèles coutumes, nous ne reviendrons plus jamais et souhaiterions ne jamais y être allés la dernière fois
Après des années de visite au Ming Cottage, je dois dire que la dernière visite a été une déception totale. L'endroit a changé, y compris les chefs, je pense que les repas que nous avons commandés étaient totalement fades, puis la facture est arrivée pour cinq d'entre nous, ce qui était totalement incroyable. Le personnel a ensuite attendu un pourboire qui ne se produisait pas de mon vivant. We went there for a celebratory meal and after years of previous visits were totally disappointed. The whole thing about the place has totally changed including the chefs I think as the meals we got were nowhere near as good as on previous visits. The bill for five of us was over and then the waiting staff hung around for a tip which was not happening anytime in this life. I can only say that after years of loyal custom we will not be returning ever again and wish we had never gone there the last time.
After years of visiting the Ming Cottage, I have to say that the last visit was a total disappointment. The whole place has changed including the chefs I think as the meals we ordered were totally bland and then the bill came to for five of us which was totally astounding. The staff then hung around waiting for a tip which was not happening in my lifetime. This is definitely not a place to go for any kind of celebration and me and my party will certaninly not be returning anytime in the near future.
I have never had a bad meal from Ming Cottage. Even though I am moving further away, I still come back here. They drive 5 miles to pick up my order, as the takeaways near us do not compare in quality. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who has not tried it before. The restaurant, although a little dated, is clean and welcoming. This will be my last takeaway from Ming Cottage before Christmas. I am excited to try their new year menu as well.
Un restaurant bien établi. J'y suis allé pour la première fois il y a des années ... et c'est toujours aussi bon aujourd'hui. Le menu est très complet et les prix sont bons. Localement, il a une très bonne réputation. A well established resteraunt. I first went here over years ago.....and it is still as good today. The menu is very comprehensive and the prices are good. Locally it has a very good reputation. I have been here for special occasions like engangments, bithdays etc etc and we have always been pleased with the service and the food.
