The reviews place this as one of the best places to eat on Bury St Edmunds. On out visit this was not the case. The staff were very unsure and not engaging in any way. The food was an even bigger surprise. Lacked flavour and...was somehow missing something across the board. Duck Rolls an exception from our order and very nice. I can only assume that there is significant variation depending on the day you visit as I cannot understand the high ratings. I rarely rate so low and am disappointed.
we had a very warm greeting of ming, the owner and cook that was such a nice note. all the workers were really helpful and the food we ordered was to die so fresh and extremely tasty. ming has a real talent. if they are in bury, I would recommend tasting the restaurant. very family-friendly and most likely the best Chinese that they will have in the opposite. our nine-year feeling has also made very special. the restaurant is relaxed and very clean.
we waited for an hour for our appetizers and after another half an hour we gave our main course only for appetizers and drinks. what we did was tasty, but to observe that people came after us and both did not have their courses. to enjoy. obviously our order was lost in the computer system, no excuses and still eating did not appear. very disappointing
Saturday night birthday treat with wife and son been several times before and last night as always was lovely all the starters were spot on and the main courses were very tasty,a small blip was they forgot about sauce for duck main dish but this...was quickly rectified.good service,but could be a bit more attentive and the food was fantastic. Mr Ming is the heart of this restaurant. He serves excellent food and at lunch has time to pop up and check if everyone is enjoying their meal. Can recommend the crispy duck with pancakes and a host of other dishes. Also there is a...lovely guy serving, all in all making it our favourite restaurant in Bury.
Superb, excellent, outstanding, delicious cuisine in a relaxing convivial setting. Ming and his team take huge pride in ensuring your visit is perfect. My top choice starter: prawn toast (trust me you’ll never taste better) and squid or maybe the short ribs, and main course...Malaysian beef. Simply divine.
We have eaten at Wings on numerous occasions and have always been delighted with the extremely high standard of food and service. The startles are amazing and of a very high standard, the main dishes equally pleasing. This is THE best.
Outstanding food, possibly the best Chinese around. Centrally located with amusing and helpful staff. Flash Gordon won’t be found in here. Réservez une table maintenant
