I recently had breakfast at Mio Mondo and ordered the scrambled eggs on toasted ciabatta with an extra slice of bacon. The portion was so generous that I couldn't finish it all, even though it was absolutely delicious. Their coffee was also the best I've had in a long time. I would definitely recommend Mio Mondo, and as a member of the local community, I plan to frequent them regularly for their wonderful food and service.
We came here for breakfast one day and were delighted. The full English was excellent and reasonably priced for the Lakes. The menu was on display outside. Special mention must be made of the waitress who was really efficient taking orders, delivering food, cleaning down tables and generally adding to the atmosphere of a well run and thriving establishment.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The home-cooked food was both delicious and satisfying. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom soup. The service was excellent and the cafe was clean and well-organized. I will definitely be returning soon.

Lovely, friendly owners. Very thoughtful touches for cold weather: blankets and heat lamps in the outdoor area. Very good espresso. Large bacon baps at a reasonable price.
Wanted a big breakfast before we set off on our big walk. This is the spot a big breakfast is what you get. Service quick friendly even gave Scoobi a sausage to himself.
