I would hazard a guess this is the liveliest place on the marina most of the time. Tributes acts and general bonhomie from the hosts on the microphones is always going to bring a crowd. And a few drinks down and the working mans club vibe kicks in and it can be very funny. If Brian Potter opened a bar in Santa Eulalia this is what would happen. But just as the Phoenix Club's acts were fair to middling, this is exactly what you get at Mirage. But, remember it's free entertainment paid for from the bar receipts. We visited on Friday night as I was desperate for a glass of Spanish Rioja. Unfortunately only available by the bottle and this would have spelt disaster so our waiter (caminero) kindly brought us two glasses of the Tempranillo instead. Loved it… so much that we returned on Sunday night only to be told it’s only house wine they do by the glass and the Tempranillo is also by the bottle.
