An unknown to us , we decided to try somewhere we had not been before . It is in an out of the way place from where we live and usually go . It was well worth the mystery trip . The service was bright...and friendly always helpful . The food from the starters all the way through was authentic ,yummy and of generous portions (especially the entrees . the price was great too not expensive . We will return ..! I can recommend eating here.
I'll admit I was feeling lazy; and I've banged up an ankle so not feeling like cooking. Mirchi came up as an option via The Food Ordering App (Name begins with M) and utterly delighted! Lamb Biryani plus a very tomatoey Butter Chicken were...just the right amount of Tasty Spicy, as opposed to Nuclear Meltdown Build a concrete bunker to contain it spicy. Nicely timed, was piping hot and delicious.
What a find. Great Indian food . We had dishes (entree included). Full of flavour and request from one for a mild dish was complied with. The chef us doing magic in the kitchen. The staff are extremely helpful. The cost is way below...what we’ve paid in other parts of Australia for a Indian meal. It’s BYO. Canberra is so lucky to have this place
I have always loved this restaurant, but I haven't been able to go for a while due to the COVID-19 situation. I finally returned last week and was blown away! I had forgotten how delicious the food is and how well they take care of their customers. I highly recommend this place. The lamb saag and goat do pyaza dishes are my top suggestions. Consistently excellent Indian cuisine over many years. Palak paneer and chicken tikka masala are all-time favourites. Friendly staff. Fabulous service. Time between ordering take away and pick up tends to be quite fast even during busy times. A reliable local gem.
Fantastic food, surprisingly pleasant atmosphere out in the burbs. Regular visitor for years. Food is always fresh and delicious. Take away option is great too, we have ordered so many times the manager noticed when we had moved house
The restaurant uses fresh ingredients. We requested mild spiciness and they made sure to serve it as requested. The service is excellent for both dining in and takeout/delivery. Highly recommended.
great eating, great Indian beer and a round fantastic experience. the crimson, meat and vegetables were amazing! we have dimmed so often here and every time they impress. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant is a hidden gem in the suburbs. It's our favorite Indian spot for dining in or getting takeout. It's perfect for when we have family visiting.
