Received half a portion of prawn karahi and burnt saag paneer , when I called and explained the situation , I was told “5er off next bill” , I proceeded to tell the guy that there would not be a next time at this rate. So asked if he could resolve my issue then and there as it had ruined my Friday evenings eating experience with my partner. I was shouted at down the phone , told “You don’t know what a portion looks like” , “you don’t order prawn dishes all the time so how would You know?” and literally the words “you are wrong” After getting nothing but a stressed out manager who’s who’s attitude was as burnt as the tofu consistency paneer I’d been unlucky enough to receive , I was forced to...
I ordered a delivery takeaway from this restaurant. After waiting for over an hour, my order finally arrived. The total cost was over £50, but there were items missing. When I called to inquire, I was told it would be another 45/60 minutes to receive the missing items. I found this unacceptable and requested for the delivery driver to return and take the food back. However, they abruptly hung up on me. I decided to drive to the restaurant with the food to get a refund. Upon arrival, the missing items were waiting for me, so I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, when I got back home, I discovered that my order was once again incomplete. I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We anticipated a lengthy wait for our delivery, and when it finally arrived, we were missing rice for the curry and salad for the tandoori chicken. Additionally, we only received 2 poppadoms instead of the 6 that we paid for. Despite trying to call the restaurant for over half an hour, the phone was constantly busy. When we went to the takeaway in person, there was no apology or offer to fix the mistake. We were also still missing the 4 poppadoms that we paid for. I will never again spend £30 on cold food from this terrible place. I urge others not to visit, as you will surely be disappointed.
This Indian takeaway is superb ! We often order from here for a family celebration and the service and quality are always to a very high standard. Delivery takes about an hour, from opening time, perfectly acceptable. The menu is extensive and is always plentiful and delicious. We tend to try alternative dishes. My partner and I usually share a mains as the amount of food is a very generous portion. Great delivery people . What's not to like too, about a night of not having to cook dinner !! I have cooked Indian food for over thirty years but I never eaten such badly cooked food Prawn puree was laden with coconut since when has this dish ever included coconut? I can find no recipe which includes this ingredient My Chicken Jalfrezi comprised a sauce overly spiced, uncooked onions, chunks of raw onions, uncooked green peppers quarters of uncooked tomatoes. My partner's vindaloo had the same level of spice and heat as my dish. I didn't realise that they were the same!!! Don't go there unless you want just chilli heat because it all tastes the same Yuk
The food at this restaurant is typically delicious, but I had a disappointing experience with delivery recently. A few weeks ago, the delivery driver informed me that the bill was slightly higher than expected, which I brushed off as a simple mistake. However, when I ordered again tonight, the driver charged me £2.07 more than my online order total. This inconsistency has made me hesitant to order from them in the future.
This takeaway will knock spots off any high end Indian that I have ever visited. The choice of unique chefs dishes would suit all levels of spice preference. If thats not enough, the portion sizes are far more generous than your usual restaurants, plus their first class service and delivery timescales just adds to overall experience which keeps you going back for more. Highly recommended!
Been here Many times before but tonight took over an hour delivery for an address around the corner. Food took 50 minutes to arrived after they said it had left, food arrived stone cold and the dansak was too hot too eat (for people who enjoy a Madras) rang to complain and they laughed.
