Sophisticated, lively atmosphere for an adult clientele (vs. a place like Yunta in South End, which feels like it’s trying to hard to be a scene for the 20-something crowd). My girlfriend and I made an impromptu visit, walking in at 5pm on a Friday. By 6pm, the place was packed. The food was oh-so-delicious, the portions generous and the service timely and efficient. Diverse drink menu (we had wine). Tips: very good idea to make a reservation ahead of time. Come on a Thursday evening, when there is live music. Overall, I would argue that Miro should be up there for top 20 restaurants in CLT. Highly recommended.
We ordered the little Paella and the pig with Chimichurri sauce. The portions were definitely enough to satisfy two hungry adults with quite great appetite. The paella achieved a 10 on the presentation and a 7 8 on taste. I think it was slightly dirty, but still pretty good overall. I asked for a hot sauce with mine. The pig had more flavors. Great and quick service will be back to taste their other dishes.
I tried to find the right place to get Paella, and thanks to one of my employees told me about this place! Is absolutely beautiful, they have quality plates, the service is 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect. I went with my husband a daughter, the waiter Jesús, was super attentive and always asked if we needed something.
