Miss Maud Pastry Houses

Miss Mauds coffee is number 1 always hot and satisfying, cakes here are well presented and the taste is exceptional. We know what to expect here, with staff on hand that keep the premises clean and tidy, which is one of the reasons we return here. I feel more room for people to go around tables would help with people with children or simply to make it more spacious in future. With limited room however it makes a quick spot between coffees and a quick lunch on the go. Otherwise pleasant for a family in the booths if provided, or chairs and small tables for couples.

The cakes & pastries are awesome... Had afternoon tea at their Westfield Carousel cafe on the of 5th July. Perfect coffee, hot English tea with Black Forest & a lemon tort cake.....delightful. Their sweet potato, spinach & sausage rolls are also wholesome & tasty...... The rolls & pies are baked in house and keep coming out fresh & piping hot. Service is a bit slow but the wait is always worth it. They also have an extensive menu serving soups, salads, snacks & meals.

We live in Cairns and don't have Miss Maud in QLD, so thought we better check it out! The first thing we noticed was the variety on the menu! There was so much to choose from. My husband had the chicken schnitzel and a pot of earl grey tea and I had a spinach and ricotta crepe and a chai latte. We both really enjoyed our meals and beverages and wouldn't hesitate to go back and try so many other yummy options on the menu!

I met my girlfriend who's been working in Karratha this last 4+ years here on Saturday afternoon. It was quiet - thank God, so we could talk! Service was great and speedy - and the girls left us alone - only coming to clear the table and pack up for the end of the day. Would return - I'm sure it's super busy during the week but ideal for us late Saturday arvo! Réservez une table maintenant

Visited on Saturday for lunch with hubby and daughter. My teacup, saucer and spoon were dirty as if they had previously been used. I asked the waitress for clean ones and she never came back - I had to ask for clean ones at the counter. My daughter and I felt ill later that day. Have visited this MM before and not totally happy so not going again.

I have not been to Miss Mauds in ages and have to say I was very disappointed with the service. I was with a group of 2 friends and it took over twenty minutes for our drinks to arrive and cake came about five minutes after. Found it expensive for service

Have visited Miss Maude's on a few occasions and have always thourally enjoyed it.The variety of food on offer would suit all tastes and is constantly being refille ensuring there is plenty available for everyone. The deserts are the best.

I order gone fishing ( fish and Chips) fish was warm and chips were cold and soggy. My brother order chicken parmigiana with chips and the chicken was cold, chewy and small and his chip were cold and soggy too. The portions was small too. Réservez une table maintenant

Items in the cabinet are well presented and look appealing. The pastries I ordered were tasty and reasonably priced. Super friendly staff too. Can't complain.

Unfortunately, the food was served cold and there was a long wait. The staff was not friendly, and the restaurant could have been cleaned a little better.
