Miss Maud Pastry Houses

Visited on Saturday for lunch with hubby and daughter. My teacup, saucer and spoon were dirty as if they had previously been used. I asked the waitress for clean ones and she never came back - I had to ask for clean ones at the counter. My daughter and I felt ill later that day. Have visited this MM before and not totally happy so not going again.

Have visited Miss Maude's on a few occasions and have always thourally enjoyed it.The variety of food on offer would suit all tastes and is constantly being refille ensuring there is plenty available for everyone. The deserts are the best.

I order gone fishing ( fish and Chips) fish was warm and chips were cold and soggy. My brother order chicken parmigiana with chips and the chicken was cold, chewy and small and his chip were cold and soggy too. The portions was small too.

Items in the cabinet are well presented and look appealing. The pastries I ordered were tasty and reasonably priced. Super friendly staff too. Can't complain.

Unfortunately, the food was served cold and there was a long wait. The staff was not friendly, and the restaurant could have been cleaned a little better.
