I love both the food and the service at Mission BBQ! It is way better than Famous Dave's. It's also one of the few restaurants that my very picky son enjoys. However, my favorite menu item is the Ricky Bobby Chicken, and I haven't seen it on the menu in years. Please bring it back! It's amazing. In the meantime, I also enjoy the moist brisket, the cheddar jalapeño sausage, and the smoked chicken wings. I gave the atmosphere 3 stars because I am not a fan of communal dining tables at all, so I usually just take my food home and eat it there. That's my only complaint though! Stopped in Sunday at 1 pm for take away. Ordered 1/2 pound brisket, Half chicken and a 1/2 a rack of the Saint Louis style ribs. The brisket was very tasty and the chicken was delicious however they packed up a 1/2 a rack of baby back ribs and thebaby back ribs were so dry and overcooked. Jerky comes to mind. The sauce (on the side) was good but couldn't help the ribs.Mission barbecue is expensive so I would hope they would get it right. Follow up. Got a nice message of apology and an offer tomake it right. Thought I might receive a coupon or discount coupon perhaps. Got a second note to contact customer service. Gotanother sincere apology.
I think it's kinda not funny that they have a military theme restaurant. But there is no military discount. I was in line with a disable miltary amputee. When he asked for a discount, they told him they did not offer one. He would have to sign up for discount offers at their website. So I stepped up and paid for his meal. And the more I thought about it, the anger grew that they are willing to ride on the back of those that served and lost and willing to shake their hand and then collect full price at the Register. First time coming here and all I have to say is that I LOVED it. Not only was the food good but the customer service was on point. Since it was my first time I was unsure on what to get but the cashier was super informative of the meats and sides. Igot the brisket , with side of fries and Mac& cheese. It even comes with corn bread how nice! All that for 21$ not bad at all.Definitely coming back thank you Mission BBQ ????????
