"We went last weekend for the first time and it was delicious. Everyone was super friendly, and Hunter took great care of us. We tried ribs, pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, as well as lots of sides it was all very good. We will be back for sure."

I'm literally writing this from the parking lot because I was so impressed with the service! I've been here before, so I know the food is good, but today's service was off the charts—10 out of 5! Everyone was incredibly friendly! I want to give a special shoutout to Danny. While I was waiting for my to-go order, he was busy attending to tables. I asked him about the different types of sauces in to-go cups, and he not only made some great suggestions but also prepared a few for me and labeled them so I'd know which to choose when I come back (and I definitely will!). My aunt Linda and I stopped by for lunch on our way home from the Pittsburgh Airport.. We were amazed with all the tributes to the men and women in our military and in public service such as Fireman, EMTs, and Police Officers.. The food was Delicious and was full of Smoked Barbecued flavors! I would like to thank Cole the Shift Manager and Dakota our Front Line Cashier! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and showed Great knowledge of their job and who they represent.. They showed us how they treat their customers and thats with the upmost respect.. I visited Mission BBQ for the first time and had a great experience. I really liked the layout of the restaurant. The staff were friendly and took the time to explain how the food is prepared. I ordered the three-meat platter with brisket, baby back ribs, and short ribs, along with sides of mac and cheese and string beans. Everything was flavorful and well-made. My only issue was that one of the ribs (the ones at the bottom in the picture) was a bit dry and didn’t come off the bone easily. However, the mac and cheese was absolutely fantastic!
I also tried a single baby back rib and a single spare rib along with my salad. Unfortunately, the St. Louis rib was underwhelming—lacking meat and tasting rather stale, with no smokiness at all. On the other hand, the baby back rib was decent and nicely meaty. Both ribs needed a generous amount of BBQ sauce to really bring out their flavor. The restaurant tends to get busy during dinner, but the lines moved quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful, which was a nice touch. Réservez une table maintenant
Updated my review from a 3 star to a 4 stars. After having a not so good experience last time, I was given a gift card, so we went back. The food was amazing. The staff were warm and welcoming. Everything was on point except for the soda machines again. One machine was fixed this time, but people still had to wait in line for drinks, and the Pepsi wasn't quite sweet enough. We will definitely be back. It's one of our favorite spots for tasty BBQ.
Great food, great experience! So many sides and sauces to choose from, but the meat was delicious all alone! The staff was super friendly and it was very clean. The rack of baby back ribs was HUGE and I definitely could have just ordered a half rack. We are traveling for business, but immediately Google searched one near home. Love the 'Mission behind this place as well.
First time visiting! The service was fast, the food was phenomenal, and the staff was above and beyond amazing! The girl who took our order explained the entire menu and offered samples! The unit/organization patches were so fun to see, the pictures of the service members were sweet! Over all we loved everything!!!! They even have a veterans vip club!
I came here while in Pittsburgh over the weekend, and I had hands down the best customer service that I've had anywhere recently. I know the job is tough, but the food was delicious, the restaurant was clean and every employee we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful! Mission BBQ remains a top choice for me, as the service and food are always of excellent quality and never let me down. The staff exudes a lot of positive energy, and they even offered meat samples while we waited briefly for our meals. If you're searching for a place that consistently delivers great food and service, this is it!
