Mister Hoffman is located in a small group of strip shops on busy Hoffman Road. Parking is limited to on street parking and around the corner in nearby streets. The cafe itself has most of the seating outside. The outside area is equipped with heating and light great for the cold but beware wet days as there is limited cover. The inside seating has bar stools looking out the large windows onto the streetscape, a large shared table and 5 small tables. I wouldn't recommend taking a pram or stroller. Really used to love this cafe, however since the new cook / chef has been on board the food has dramatically done a downward spiral. Recently, a friend ordered the banana bread which came served sitting in a deep pool of some watery liquid, not only did it look weird, but soggy banana bread is so unappealing. My other friend ordered smashed avo with poached eggs, eggs were overcooked. Personally I strongly feel an overhaul is needed in the kitchen and the cooking as its poor performance over a few visits moved me to no longer be a regular of this cafe as it has others too.
I can't say enough good for this place. Start with the simple white decor. Cools you down on a hot day just by looking around. Smiling, warm welcome upon arrival. Great menu, great service. We were treated as honoured guests with lots of smiles and patience. Our food was fantastic, delivered promptly and hot! Coffee was equally good. Their service model allows anyone with a free hand to cater to your needs. If I lived in the area I'd be there at least once a week. These are the kinds of locales that make eating out worthwhile!
So this is my new favourite breakfast place, amazing food and equally great coffee, menu was small but it did not disappoint. I had the mini breakfast burgers, which where delish, my partner had the pulled pork benedict, which had a generous serving of pork and hollandaise. Out door courtyard, is a great little spot to read the paper or catch up on gossip with friends.

I recently moved to the area and was so glad to find a hidden gem that was within walking distance. I regularly visit Mister Hoffman and take friends and family there. Every single time I have been there, they have been absolutely pleasant and the food is always great. Definitely worth a visit!
Love love love this cafe. The staff are so friendly and the chai is to die for. I had the breakfast burgers last time and they were amazing. I've also had the superfoods salad with chicken and it was really yummy.
Mr Hoffman in Hoffman Road Niddrie make a really nice soy cuppacino. Even the setting is nice to have a chat over brekky. Outdoors they have heaters and a blanket to pop over you if it's a little chilly .
I came here for breakfast and ordered the pulled pork eggs Benedict. I think it was called the Mister Benedict. Delicious. Great atmosphere and also an outdoor seating on the side as well.

Very good food served to a very high standard. Coffee made to a very high standard. Staff are very friendly and polite. Menu has a excellent selection on offer to pick from.
