This place is a fav for many in the area, and we live within a mile or so but can't go above 2 stars. We ordered a grilled chicken salad sandwich and ended up with primarily a lettuce and tomato sandwich. It did have a small piece of bacon but the very thin layer of chic salad was pitiful. You could hardly see it and all 4 corners of the sandwich was just a big bite of bread. It tasted ok, but far from being worth the price and the hassle of parking, sorry to say.
Food was the best I have had in a long time but the wait was long. Super busy but cool place to hangout and eat. The root beer, grape soda and ginger ale are all fountain. Super good but foam was quite extra. Everyone's cup was only half full due to foam. I got the Mitchell club and it was tasty, bacon a little salty but definitely tolerable. A must visit!
Went to Nashville this weekend and my daughter took me to lunch here. Not only a beautiful little neighborhood joint, but the food was outstanding!! If you are in Nashville, take the time to visit Mitchell's, worth the drive!!!!
If you LOVE sandwiches then this is a must when in the area. Heck,I live 30 minutes away and I’ll drive to eat there. The Asian flank steak is my favorite. The potato salad with Benton’s bacon is excellent. Réservez une table maintenant
Club sandwich at Mitchell’s is my fave. Very traditional just not cut 4 ways. Side of potato salad and a lemonade make a great meal. Turkey, steak sandwiches also very good.
The sandwiches are delicious! They offer a great variety and all ingredients are fresh. We will definitely come back when we are in town.
Awesome lunch place! I had the French dip which was very good, but the standout was the potato salad. Wow! It was incredible
Grilled cheese was a hit with our toddlers, husband had a club he devoured and I ate the chicken portobello with gusto. Réservez une table maintenant

"The ambiance is nice. They were out of several liquors, pineapple juice, and wine choices were slim. The cocktails we settled on were good. (Margaritas, Patron shots, Spring Break 98, a couple more) Our server was nice but the food was disappointing. Burgers and salmon were way over cooked. Pizza was cold and wings were okay."
