Very fast and friendly service, the food was amazing and one of the only times I've gone to a diner with free coffee refills and the coffee doesn't taste like water. The serving sizes were large and worth their price and I am so sad that I found this jewel of a restaurant a week before the way from Talstrom. If you're looking for a nice place for breakfast / brunch don't look further! I still have to taste their lunch / dinner, but I had their quiche as well as their Corned beef hash and Caesar salad. I appreciate the pleasant ambiance that Mitchell’s portrays. There is never a time that I come in and I am not greeted happily by a staff member. I love that I am almost always able to seat myself and that a waitstaff employee is ready for me in no time. I always get my favorite, the classic turkey burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheese, with a side of steak fries and let me tell you, I have not been disappointed at any point in the last 10 times I came here haha I will always be back! This is one of my favorite spots in Valley Stream.

I always get my favorites, the classic truthahnburger with salat, tomaten and cheese, with a side of Steak-Fries and let them tell them I wasn't at any point in the last 10 times here haha I'm always here! this is one of my favorite spots in valley stream.

all the way, except for the waitress. kitchen slowly and do not follow orders that are written. the food presentation was unacceptable. Bus boys have a job and are lazy! ac didn't seem to work everyone was sweating! the manager/owner doesn't seem to care, he just likes to collect the money! my first and last visit this place!

What a great place for brunch! First it's huge! So there was really no waiting time. Secondly, the servers were so friendly and the menu is also HUGE! I chose chicken and waffles and my fiancée had the French toast eggs. It's delicious. I also had a mimosa that was well done. Great portions! I want to visit def re.

brunch was tasty, I had laughs with broccoli and grits yummy! large portions, affordable prices, beautifully spiced, and attentive waiting staff. all they want to experience in their dining room. I can't expect to eat here again and try more entrees on the menu.

The food was amazing. We stopped in several times over our trip. We always had the best wait staff, and the food was always perfect. Their ice cream is great. Next time I am out that way, i plan to return.

A great dinner. It hit the spot. Had a French onion soup and skirt steak with 2 sunny side eggs with one side sausage. I'm happy.
