Do you have a cousin in the family who is unknown to most of your relatives? You will relate to this Mithaas location in Piscataway compared to its grand cousins in the Edison and North Brunswick locations. I?m surprised with the mixed and mostly bad reviews. This is the closest to our home and can make quick runs to it when we have unplanned guests coming home. We've had only sweets (desserts) and some chaat items taken home from here and looking forward to dine for a lunch or dinner meal soon. We had function with us as we had good experiences in the past, I went to Mithaas Piscataway and met Jimmy. He was very friendly, professional and beat some wonderful dishes for my function. Since I was the only person to take care of the guest, it was difficult for me to go and get the food. Jimmy helped me send a gentleman (my bad, I forgot his name) at my place, he came everything and went, excellent service. All my 30 plus guests were very happy, very good quality food, at a reasonable price. I'll go to Mithaas in the future for all my catering needs.

We enjoy visiting this place as a family, with friends, and even for office lunches or dinners. The quality and taste of the food are consistently excellent, making it feel like home. The staff, including manager Jimmy, are very friendly and professional. We hosted a meal for our son's graduation party here, and in the past, for the Hauswarr party, our guests loved it! I highly recommend it for a wonderful Nordic dining experience.

So far, we’ve only tried the sweets (desserts) and some chaat items to take home, but we’re excited to come back for a full lunch or dinner soon. The restaurant is clean, has a spacious parking lot, and the staff is very responsive to questions and requests. The taste, without a doubt, is excellent. If you’re new to Mithaas and unsure what to try first, I highly recommend the Kesar Badam milk—you won’t be able to stop at just one! Réservez une table maintenant

The samosa chana chat was enjoyable; it was warm, but not hot. We had heard great things about the rasmalai, so we decided to order it for takeout, but it was disappointing and hard. However, we decided to give the rasmalai another try on a different day, and it was delicious this time. The gulab jamun sweets are delightful, and the kaju barfi and motichoor laddu are also quite good.

The food at this restaurant raises health concerns. During my last visit, I found a fly in the dhokla. Previously, I encountered two instances where the curries had an unpleasant odor. While the staff was courteous enough to replace the food with other items, the manager was defensive about acknowledging the mistakes. Unfortunately, I never received a refund.

The food here is consistently excellent, and you certainly get your money's worth—generous portions and a great selection. The helpings are definitely not skimpy! Plus, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Overall, a fantastic dining experience!

Great chats and food, but the sweets are not the best. Very ordinary caju and milk sweets, but the Bengali sweets are great. For a very renowned and old sweet shop we expect it to be better. Réservez une table maintenant

The food is consistently excellent, and the portions are generous. They don’t skimp on the servings. Overall, it's just really tasty food, and the staff is always friendly!

Worst place ever! If you had any candy to give a friend, they sold us candy, mold, that it's fresh. No more candy from here!
