We moved to Bowmanville a few years ago and tried to find a decent Sushi place. We have been here for lunch once and it was decent. Although the place could be kept a little more clean. After this we had take-out twice. The first time it seemed that there was mayonnaise in litterally all of the sushi rolls. Not sure why many sushi restaurants do this, maybe to replace kewpie spicy sauce, but our order had way to much in it and it was not spicy. We were a little bummed out but gave the restaurant another chance. Another take-out order with specific instructions on "no" mayonnaise. Which I think sushi does not need unless there are specific rolls that require it, such as crunchy rolls. Again the rolls were soaked in mayonnaise. On top of this the a lot of the rolls fell apart. It was quite disappointing, since we specifically asked to lay off the mayo. I am yet to find a good sushi place.

Ok so we eat a lot of sushi and have done our research... The number one thing about sushi is it should not smell like fish!!! You should be able to get your nose within touching distance and not spell anything. Unfortunately this is not always the case with this place. We eat sushi about a couple times a month and have done so for 12 years and this is the only place we have been that we could not eat the sushi due to the smell of fish on it. Yuk! That means they are serving old fish! It's raw...that makes it dangerous. We tried it again after we had not been there for a few years and we had the same problem. Rolls are unimaginative and heavy on mayo and other sauces some are exactly the same rolls with different names. Some staff are great and others not so great. There are far better places like Sushi Mountain in whitby.

All you can eat food for a good price at lunch! Dinner is quite a bit more expensive & not a whole lot more variety compared to lunch. Food was hot, tasted good except for chicken wings in the photo below. Wait time was okay for all you can eat, waiters were a little pushy and felt rushed. Overall a good lunch stop, it's close & convenient for myself & boyfriend.

This was a quick stop for lunch for us. Been here before and thought it was just average like most other sushi places. Not our favorite place for sushi. Staff were friendly. Service was quick.
