Mitos is a new restaurant in Pomona, and it’s absolutely amazing! They have a variety of vegan options, and the owner, Mito, along with his staff, are incredibly friendly and attentive. The vegan juice they serve is refreshing and serves as a base for many of their dishes. You can enjoy the food on a plate, as takeout, or in the form of "zaza," which is a Turkish-style pizza. The vegan zaza is a must-try and is only $6! The ingredients are very fresh, and their salads are excellent as well. I recommend pairing the dolmas with the vegan harissa sauce instead of the yogurt sauce. Unfortunately, the baklava isn’t vegan—Mito explained that he tried making it with coconut oil, but it turned out t...

Mito’s Döner Kebap is a fantastic new spot in Pomona, serving absolutely delicious food! They offer several vegan options, and the owner, Mito, along with his staff, are incredibly kind and welcoming. The vegan köfte is a highlight and comes in three styles: plate, wrap, or “zaza,” a Turkish-style pizza. The vegan zaza is a must-try and only costs $6! The dolmas and salads are very fresh, and I recommend pairing the dolmas with the vegan harissa sauce instead of yogurt. While the baklava isn’t vegan—Mito experimented with coconut oil, but it was too heavy, and vegan butter contains too many additives—he’s open to ideas for a healthier vegan version. I’ll definitely be visiting at least once...

It is a nice Turkish Kebab restaurant. I have been here once, on the recommendation of a friend, who is Turkish descent. The meal, that I have ordered, was a delicious lavash kebab meal. It reminded my teenage years, in Europe, when I used to purchase street kebabs in my old country. The prices, too, were fair. At the same time, they were not on the expensive side. The lines were not existent, and service was quick and prompt. Definitely, if anyone enjoys Turkish cuisine, I would recommend to stop by this establishment. It is located on the left side of Smart Final, and near the Pomona Valley Hospital.

While the flavor closely resembles Turkish doner shawarma, I found the overall food quality to be lacking. I strongly recommend that they serve their sandwiches with bread. The sandwich was mediocre, and the taste didn't stand out. I'm not sure what the connection to German cuisine is. As a Turkish person, I tried your food at the Turkish festival, and it was fantastic, served with bread like a traditional doner ekmek. However, when I visited your restaurant, I was disappointed by the quality of the meat, and the lavash was overly doughy. I hope for a better experience next time. Réservez une table maintenant

AMAZING food and amazing service! I had the beef kepab lavish wrap and the dolma and it was some of the best food I've ever had. I also ordered baklava, and while I ate my main course, the owner baked some fresh baklava and let me exchange out my old baklava for the one she pulled warm from the oven!! It was so wonderful of her to do that for me. I can't recommend this place enough.

The quality of the meat is exceptional—tender and incredibly flavorful. The owner provides quick and very clean service. This is the kind of döner you can only find in Turkey; no other restaurant in California offers this authentic taste.

My Persian friend has been telling me how much he loves Turkish food. We decided to go for some beef wraps. Great food. Baklava was very good also (thanks) took piece home to share.

The meat is so fresh and delicious. Food like this is very hard to find in the area. So this place is truly a gem. I highly recommend. Great food and customer service. Réservez une table maintenant

The zaza was amazing! A blend of red lentils and bulgur served on fresh bread with plenty of vegetable toppings. Great value for the price. Definitely try it!
