Mito's is a fantastic new restaurant in Pomona that I can't recommend highly enough! They offer a great variety of vegan options, and owner Mito along with his staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. The vegan juice is a standout, served in various styles – you can get it in a dish, as a wrap, or in the "zazaza" form which is essentially a Turkish pizza. The vegan zazaza is a must-try and only costs $6! The produce is very fresh, and the salads are delightful as well. I recommend ordering the vegan harissa sauce to enjoy with the dolma instead of the yogurt sauce. Unfortunately, the baklava isn't vegan. Mito mentioned he tried making it with coconut oil, but it turned out too heavy....

Mito’s is a new restaurant in Pomona and it is absolutely delicious! Several vegan options and the owner, Mito, and his staff are incredibly kind and accommodating. The vegan köfte is delicious and is the staple of the options- you can order it in plate, wrap, or “zaza” form which is a Turkish take on pizza. The vegan zaza is a must try, and only $6! The dolmas are very fresh, and the salads are too. Order the vegan harissa sauce to go with the dolmas instead of the yogurt sauce. Unfortunately the baklava is not vegan- Mito said he tried it with coconut oil and it was too heavy. I suggested vegan butter and he said it has too many additives, so if someone can think of another healthier alter...

While the flavor closely resembles Turkish doner shawarma, I found the overall food quality to be lacking. I strongly recommend that they serve their sandwiches with bread. The sandwich was mediocre, and the taste didn't stand out. I'm not sure what the connection to German cuisine is. As a Turkish person, I tried your food at the Turkish festival, and it was fantastic, served with bread like a traditional doner ekmek. However, when I visited your restaurant, I was disappointed by the quality of the meat, and the lavash was overly doughy. I hope for a better experience next time.

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was fresh and exceptionally delicious. We ordered the Döner Kebab plates, which were fantastic. The side dishes, including Dolma, Eggplant Salad, Choban Salata, Pickled Red Cabbage, Hummus, and Lavash, were all incredibly tasty. For dessert, we enjoyed Turkish Coffee and Baklava, which provided a delightful ending to our meal. Our server, Chris, was very helpful in guiding us through the menu. If you haven't experienced authentic Turkish cuisine yet, be sure to make a visit!

The family went for dinner. Lots of options and clearly labeled what vegetarian and what’s vegan. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The lentil koftë was very good. We had the meze plate, a lavash wrap and the Turkish pizza with the feta cheese. All were very good. For the meze plate, tried, the hummus, roasted eggplant and the yogurt cucumber salad. Very good. Side of dolmas also delicious. Topped off with baklava for dessert, excellent. Not too sweet or sticky. Will definitely be going back.

The menu was clearly marked with vegan and vegetarian options, and there were plenty to choose from. I appreciate when restaurants offer more than just falafels (though they don’t have those here). I ordered a vegan lentil kofte served with harissa sauce and rice pilaf, along with a side of grape leaves. The grape leaves were wonderfully tangy, just how I like them!

The meat was mostly fatty pieces, and the rice was soggy. I had requested no rice, but it still came on the plate instead of the cabbage salad that was indicated in my order. It completely ruined my lunch, and I ended up wasting food.

I had a vegan platter, and it was absolutely delicious. It had a lovely level of spiciness and was very satisfying! I definitely recommend it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well.

I had a wrap with everything vegan and it was delicious. It had a nice spiciness to it and was filling! Recommended. Staff is super friendly and helpful.
