Heute war ich mit meiner besten Freundin und meinem Freund spontan im Mittelhaus. Wir wollten bei dem schönen Wetter draußen sitzen und was nettes trinken. Als die Kellnerin an den Tisch kam, hatten wir uns noch nicht entschieden und das fand unsere Bedienung scheinbar schon nicht so toll. Letztendlich haben wir uns für 2 Cocktails entschieden, ein 0,3l Bier und einem Campari-Osaft. Wir haben nicht mal 5 Min. auf unsere Getränke gewartet. Das Bier und der Campari waren in Ordnung, aber unsere Cocktails waren aus der Dose mit zu viel Eis und sind bei uns komplett durchgefallen. Wir waren am 24.10.18 im Mittelhaus und wollten uns gerne das Fußballspiel angucken. Gesagt getan wir also hin. Erstmal zur Annahme der Bestellung hat es bestimmt geschlagene 15min gedauert desweiteren standen teelichter auf dem Tisch die auch nicht genutzt wurden. Die blonde wahrscheinlich neue Kellnerin (man sieht sie Abends nicht so oft) kam relativ überfordert rüber was man vom Mittelhaus eigentlich nicht gewohnt ist sie lief trotz leerer Getränke auf unserem Tisch mehrfach an uns vorbei. Freundlich war sie ja aber Freundlichkeit ist nicht alles man muss auch schon den Willen zeigen was verkaufen zu wollen. Das wird uns trotzdem nicht aufhalten hier nochmal her zu kommen.
Wir waren auf Kaffee, Tee, Kuchen und Waffel dort, saßen im Außenbereich schön zum Beobachten der Flaneure , sehr zentral in der Fußgängerzone, Location innen urig. Hat uns gut gefallen. Unsere Tochter wählte Waffeln mit Sahne und Kirschen, aber lt. Kellnerin bietet man schon länger grundsätzlich keine Kirschen mehr an: warum stehen die dann noch auf der Karte? Was wir dann bekamen (Tee, Apfelstrudel, Waffel mit Puderzucker, Kaffee) war i.O., ordentliche Qualität zu angemessenen Preisen. Nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger. Die Kellnerin schien arg gestreßt.. Fazit: Guter Durchschnitt. Auf ´nen Kaffee oder ein Bierchen werden wir sicher nochmal einkehren. Réservez une table maintenant
the middle house is located in the pedestrian zone of the north and is especially in the evening - if other restaurants or locals have already closed - the meeting point for local and tourist destinations. one sits very cozy inside or even-if the weather allows it outside, partly with heater. the extensive map with different types of beer is not to be expected, but makes the decision difficult. the menu is extensive, small as well as larger foods are recommended. It is easy to highlight the ambiente and the fast contacts to other people.
In the evening on a cocktail or a beer it is always good here! small foods are also offered, which are also taste and cheap. the map about drinks offers a large band width, also on East Frisian specialties. for events there is a hall in the building. the middle house is for a cozy together rather than for the wild sause!
on the occasion of a weekend in the north we are also in the middle house. there it was very pleasant and very well visited. there were zig different types of beer and also the menu could be seen. you could also sit in the pedestrian zone and watch the flanking. we would certainly take our next couple back there.
