Mittlers Restaurant Hotel

It's quite difficult to find a decent restaurant in this area but for this nice place. Food is really good quality with a nice, friendly service and for prices comparable to other (but awful) restaurants in the area. Location is not that great unfortunately (terrace overlooks a street and does not offer a direct view on the Mosel), but that is the best place to eat very decent cuisine at a reasonable price. Recommended if you don't want to go Trier.

Delicious food, cooked to perfection. The menu is not extensive, but has a couple of vegetarian options (not the ubiquitous Gemüseplatte but a fab salad with goats cheese or a tortellini dish). Our party ate rumpsteak, salmon, veggie salad, chicken salad, pasta with Garnelen, and all were very content.

Great lunch with friends on a beautiful day. Classic cuisine with a lightness and elegance. We were on a schnitzel our and this was the best we had, also true of the Spargel which was perfect. Service was light, but attentive. Looking forward to returning.

Great traditional German menu, very polite and helpful staff. I had a beef goulash which was beautifuly presented. Other had schnitzel dishes which were also well presented. Great atmosphere inside if you wish to stay for a few drinks after the meal

We stayed at the Mittlers Hotel and also had diner there. The restaurant is pretty good, a few euro more expensive that other nearby places. Main dishes vary from € 10-20, some menus include the salad bar. But food is good, service is good as well.
