I've eaten here 3 times, and as much as I love the food, I've had some pretty terrible service. The last meal was the worst. The server, which appeared very experienced, failed to properly communicate items, busboys are sitting around chatting, and the management didn't even respond to our qualms. I sent a private message to mix prime to explain the situation, and here we are weeks later and nothing. I guess we won't be returning. The largest issues: the waiter wasn't present early on and presented the specials after being seated 10 minutes and we had already looked over the menu; I asked about the Brussel sprouts included with the salmon and if they were fried, he said they were and that the goat cheese and honey made a great pairing, and he brings us a appetizer portion in addition to our meals $14 upcharge off the bat); due to the appetizer confusion, I filled up quickly and couldn't finish my meal, so he came by and I had said the food was very good but I would have to wrap my food up, and he takes our plates away while my wife was still eating her food, fork in hand!!! So we had enough, paid abruptly, and left. Very upsetting experience.
I’m not from the area. I was just passing through and looking for a place to eat. I got the recommendation from a local, and was very satisfied. We had the beef ravioli, a ribeye, and a half dozen oysters. Everything was excellent. Beef ravioli was very flavorful. The oysters were very fresh. The ribeye was cooked to a perfect medium rare. I can’t remember the server’s name, but he was a very friendly guy, who made us feel very welcomed. Great place
