I was just passing through town and needed a quick lunch, so I decided to check out MJ's Fish Chicken Express, which had been recommended as a local favorite. The staff were extremely polite and friendly, making sure everything was perfect. I ordered the shrimp and catfish combo with macaroni and cheese on the side, and it was all absolutely delicious! I give it two enthusiastic thumbs up!

On September 2, 2023, I went to the restaurant to order takeout, but I was greeted by a sign on the door indicating that they no longer offer dine-in or carry-out services. They have shifted completely to catering. I'm disappointed to have missed the chance to try their food, especially after hearing so many great things about it.
The best fish we've had in years! It tastes just like homemade food in a restaurant setting. We tried the catfish and chicken wings, both of which were outstanding. The sides of cornbread, greens, and mac and cheese were also incredible. You absolutely have to come and experience this place for a true taste of the South!
I went to this fantastic restaurant yesterday for an early dinner, but sadly, they were CLOSED! I’m really disappointed. They’re no longer offering dine-in or takeout options and have shifted exclusively to catering. I hope everything goes well for you. I will truly miss your incredible fish, shrimp, and chicken!
