I wouldn’t even give this place one star. The bartenders were terrible; we only received service if we had to flag them down, and the bar was mostly empty. They seemed more interested in chatting, scrolling on their phones, and cleaning glasses than attending to customers. When we brought our concerns to their attention, the bartender was quite rude. For the first time ever, we didn’t leave a tip, which is unusual for me as a former server and bartender. My husband has decided he will never return to this place! The food was just okay, and my husband really didn’t like it at all.
We often visit this location since we live in the neighborhood, and we were excited when an MJ's opened up nearby. Initially, it was great, but tonight was definitely not one of those nights! We ordered two classic cheeseburgers with smoked Gouda, but instead, we received two mushroom burgers with smoked Gouda. When I informed the bartender that we hadn't ordered anything with mushrooms and that we wanted the classic cheeseburgers, she insisted that that's what we had ordered and gave the other...
Terrible experience. It took 15 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us on a Tuesday at 12:30 pm. Our bartender, Anna, seemed very distracted. When our food arrived, my meal was missing. She blamed the kitchen and the number of customers, but I don’t agree. It took 40 minutes for the food to arrive, and the well-done items were cold. She only started cooking my meal after my guests were halfway finished eating. I had read the reviews but still decided to give this place a try—big mistake.

They were more about socializing, phones, and cleaning glasses. When we complained to them,the bartender got an attitude. First time ever we didn?t tip, I am a former server and bartender, would never do that. Myhusband will never ever go there again! Food was mediocre, my husband hates it.

Mj's Restaurant Bar Grill, formerly known as the Sitting Duck, has been completely renovated into a somewhat sterile sports bar. I tried the chili, which was quite good, but it didn’t come with chips or crackers until I requested them. The chicken wrap was tasty and came with delicious homemade potato chips. The menu offers a decent selection, though the atmosphere feels less inviting than before.
The karaoke here is fantastic! The grilled shrimp salad was delicious, and the staff is really friendly, with excellent table service from our waiter. However, when I returned on July 6, I was disappointed to find the shrimp salad mostly consisted of greens with just a few shrimp. But on September 14, I had another great experience with amazing karaoke and good service again.
The staff was attentive, the food was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. Live entertainment (The Bill and Andy Show) added to the experience. There was plenty of parking available, and the sports fans present were polite and not excessively loud, unlike at other places.
The burgers were fantastic! Karaoke with Sherri Lynn is an absolute blast! She always brings her A-game and the crowd is great too!

The atmosphere and service were excellent. The meals were truly impressive! The steak gyro was particularly delicious!
