Due to water damage in our office, we quickly looked for new office furniture at Höffner. The advice we received from Ms. Schulz-Bomheuer was excellent – competent, friendly, and solution-oriented. We were presented with three different furniture sets and assured of fast delivery, as it was an emergency. We chose the set that was stated to be the quickest to deliver. Two weeks after signing the contract, we inquired about the delivery date by email (providing the purchase contract number and our official company address). We were given June 5, 2025. About four weeks ago, I ordered a sofa from Höffner, but the initial delivery date was missed. Even though I had taken time off work specifically for this. When I contacted customer service, I received a rude response. It was still within the correct delivery deadline, but they showed zero understanding for taking that day off work specifically for me, and they were also completely unwilling to accommodate me. In other words, customer service was really poor. Then the sofa was delivered, and the delivery service simply wanted me to pay €50 in cash for carrying it upstairs, even though the delivery was included. A real rip-off!
