When we are on the W. Island Moe's is our choice for breakfast. We have yet to be disappointed. Ordered the Bagel and Lox - Bagel toasted perfectly and good portion and nicely presented smoked salmon. Also had scrambled eggs ham potatoes etc which was very well cooked and presented. Service was courteous and professional. We have ordered eggs benedict etc over the years and have never had a bad experience or meal. I am surprised to see some of the reviews below as this is totally different from the service and food we have experienced at Moe's.
Moe's is a definite local in the West Island that is tradition. A great family place to go eat, or a drop in for any meal. I have been here for breakfast, lunch and supper. The meals are a good size and filling. Service is fast, and the ambiance is good as well. No rush to eat here, just order and enjoy your plate. My fav is breakfast with rye bread toast. But you won't be disappointed when you try this restaurant. The deli section is awesome, and takes you back to older times when booths and deli foods were more popular.....but you decide.
We had not been to Moe's in a while. We were seated immediately and someone came to take our order. Coffee and a soft drink arrived quickly. We ordered a smoked meat sandwich and a chicken panini. Ketchup, mustard and mayo were put on the table.When the food arrived no one ever came back to ask if it was ok? No refill on the coffee and never got the chance to ask for a glass of water. Had to find the waiter to get the bill. $35.00
Family from Europe came and they always want to have smoke meat. They love it! First time at Moe's and it was pretty good. We started with nachos and dips plus side order of large onion rings. We all had the smoke meat platter and also tried the Philly steak sandwich. Service was very good and the restaurant is a descent size. We finished off with cheese cake and red velvet cake. They were just ok.

Had the smoked meat platter and it was obvious that it was freshly made.Service was pretty good and food came out in a reasonable amount of time. They also had a good kids menu and were very good about allergies and ensuring those with them did not receive something they couldn't eat.Would for sure visit again!
I have yet to find a Smoked Meat Sandwich that I didn't like and at Moe's there was no exception. Had dinner with two of my Sons. We all enjoyed what we had and the staff acknowledged us at every opportunity. Overall a very good experience.
OMG if I could give this place a 10 I would. I ordered the smoked meat platter with roasted potatoes. It was by far the best meal I had eaten in a long time. I live about 400 km away and would go back just to have this meal again.
Had lunch. Ordered smoked meat sandwich, salad and fries. I had lunch 2 years before and thought they might have improved. Service was good but the fries were almost black and full of cooking oil. Disgusting.

Huge portions and very good smoke meat sandwiches. Prices ok, 5 a 7 also for drinks and stuff, in front of Fairview shopping center, a bit of a pain to get there as it is on a corner. Hope you like!
We eat at Moe's whenever we're in Montreal and it never disappoints. We always have the smoked meat platter and really enjoy it.
