Even though this Moes is closer to home I will also be going to the Florham Park Moes. On Feb 11, 2023 my family and I decided to go to Moes for my birthday dinner. I had a $5 reward to use for purchasing Christmas gift cards and also received a free burrito birthday reward. After our 4 meals were rung up I attempted to use both these rewards. I was told that the computer would not process both rewards so I asked if they could ring up the orders separately. They attempted to use my birthday coupon on the burrito after my family's meals were paid but couldn't because the computer would not allow me to use 2 rewards in a day. The rude worker told to come back some other time to use my birthday...
I am embarrassed to share my experience at this restaurant. First of all, I'm not a manager, but it seems like the management lacks a solid understanding of customer service. The portion sizes were disappointingly small, and my family had to go out to eat again afterwards. When we asked for more, the owner informed us that there would be an extra charge for anything beyond what he initially served. To make matters worse, he took scraps from the nearly empty vegetable bin and placed them in my bowl. I’ve been to this Moe’s and a few others. I kinda know what to expect. Roughly $10 for a burrito, a couple of dollars more for a drink.Tonight my wife and ate a burrito and a “bowl”and two drinks. I asked for guac and queso on my burrito and an extra bowl of queso for my chips. The bill came to $40 without a gratuity. Holy cow!!! Really?? If I knew it would be this much I would have eaten at Riviera Maya just down the street!!The food is still good, but be careful with the extras. It really adds up. (The extra bowl of queso for the chips was $5.50 for a bowl the size of the palm of your hand. Does that sound right??
Very unfriendly environment and false advertising. The stuff are very rude, especially the manager. I’ve been going there quite regularly but they give me hard time after I spend so much money every time I went. The company should hire professionals not ignorants. And by the way the food had bugs in them, yak!! I almost decided not to visit after reading the reviews, but I was really craving Moe's queso, so I gave it a try. The service was incredibly friendly, and the portion sizes were excellent—way more chips than I could finish. The bathrooms were very clean, as was the rest of the restaurant. If you've skipped this location before, it might be worth giving it another chance.
They consistently close earlier than expected, which gives the impression that they’re not interested in attracting customers. It’s quite frustrating. I attempted to place an online order, but I wasn't able to do so. It feels like they're discouraging visitors. While I understand they might be understaffed, that shouldn't affect the experience of the customers.
The restaurant's listed hours are 8, but they actually close at 7:30, which is a bit misleading. However, the burritos served outside are delicious.
Very simple delicious meal. It's pedestrian Mexican food but I really find it enjoyable.A few vegetarian options.Vegetarian options: Edgy Veggie.
