Unfortunately, our waiter seemed preoccupied and took a long time to attend to us. It became evident that he was chatting with other staff in the wait station instead of focusing on serving the customers. It took approximately 30 minutes from our arrival until we were asked if we were ready to place our order. I ordered the salmon and steak tacos with Spanish rice, while my husband ordered the ancho steak. Both dishes turned out to be extremely spicy to the point where we didn't enjoy them. I took my husband and father to celebrate Father’s Day and this is not our first time brunching at Mojave but it was very awkward how it was only brunch menu items being prepared when every single time we have been here we have gotten items from brunch and dinner menu at the same time. Food was ok but my dad was visualizing eating a plate of enchiladas along with chicken tamales which we asked twice but still said were not being served. I was the only one who drinked and got a mimosa when I asked for my check and let me tell you I drank es that mimosa in one sip , literally was like a one oz shot . I won’t give it a 5 star but I would probably be back in the future.
Have been to Mojave numerous times. It is usually good, but this time it was a terrible. Our reservation was at 6pm. We ordered drinks. After one hour I was told the wine I chose was not afailable. Then another 15 minutes before a substitute was provided. The intial plates for our appetizers were wet and some had food on them from previous diners. It was a long unpleasant evening. If this were our first visit we would never return.
Our experience was an amazing one largely because of our server, Nichole. She is so professional, patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and fun. We have begun to ask for her each time we visit, and she graciously helps us with our questions and choices. The food is amazing, and we enjoy it! Just know that the Mojave experience is better because Nicole is employed there. Someone of her caliber makes all the difference!

We had a birthday celebration dinner here and it was awesome — the service, the food, and the atmosphere! We thought it would be too hot to sit outside at 7pm in the summer but it was quite comfortable with the fans and being by the water. And we got some amazing photos!
The broken blinds at our table allowed the sun to shine directly into the eyes of some of our guests. Additionally, we noticed large, long-standing spider webs at the top of the blinds, which raised concerns about the restaurant's cleanliness.
Good food, nice place, but incredibly annoying nickel and dime pricing. We asked for more tortillas to go with our queso {we were given 3 to start}, and they charged us for bringing 3 more. Seriously?
Always love coming to Mojave. A bit sad they don’t have the lobster mares as that was my favorite but I am excited to see what they add/take away from the menu with new ownership.

We went for Father's Day brunch. The staff was friendly and the food was very good. We will definitely come back for dinner.
The food and service were excellent as always, but the noise level was so high that it made conversation nearly impossible.
