I have been coming here occasionally for the last 2-3 years when visiting Madrid (my mother leaves near by and it is really a little hidden gem. Service has always been outstanding, which is not always true in many of the cafes/bars around here, and their coffee is just very good. I really enjoy coming here for a late breakfast enjoying their terrace or in the late evening for an informal cocktail or beer. Also, quite affordable. Just paid 2.5 euros for a cafe con leche (latte and a croissant :
.... Upon arrival in Spain and it was very welcoming. Sat outside overlooking the park strip. Very hot but had decent shade. Nice mixture of menus of a variety of offerings. Ordered the beer and received some nice tapas is with it (canapés and crisps). Decent selection of ice cream also. I had too! Worth a visit if passing by.
