Not your ordinary South of the Border!. Took my son here for dinner and left in a food coma!! We went on a Friday night around 7:00 and the place was packed. We were seated quickly and greeted by our waiter. He was very attentive and offered suggestions since we were first timers. I ordered the guacamole appetizer, which they have two to choose from. Get the Guacamole de la casa very chunky, onions, cilantro, and a little heat with some green chilies. They make it fresh when you order it. The chips and salsa are also very good, not too runny and not too much like tomato sauce like some places. The menu is not your typical mexican fare with some really creative dishes. It is a good Mexican restaurant, if it has the taste of Mexican food and the staff is very friendly they gave us excellent service.
