Neither I or my friend had ever been there before. So I really didn’t know what to expect. It’s a traditional sports bar, Irish pub with the usual fare. I do have to say we had burgers and drinks and the burgers were some of the best that I’ve had in the valley. My guest had a mushroom and Swiss burger and I had a burger with cracked peppercorn, bacon and blue cheese. Both were phenomenal, and we both had onion rings with it. She chose a margarita which she enjoyed immensely, and I had a soda which was, well… a soda. The service was actually very good, the only reason it did not get five stars is because with the crowd that they had on a late afternoon on a Sunday they only had the bartender handling both the bar and the bar area for food. She was stretched pretty thin, this is not her fault, just an issue with staffing. If you’re looking for a good time, do not mind periodic noisiness because let’s face it, it is going to get loud being that it is a sports bar in a college area, give Molly’s a try. I do not believe you will be disappointed and leave there knowing that you will be back to try it again. Oh, pricing two burgers with onion rings which cost an additional two dollars, one margarita, and a soda came to $50. Overall, considering that with tip, it was a $60 late afternoon early dinner I do believe this was not bad at all. Much better than I would get going out to any fast food joint or quickserve establishment, and we got an alcoholic beverage, soda, food made to order, and good service.
