Mom Dumpling House

First time eating at the MDH Vic Park. Was hoping for it to be a pleasant experience but sad to say it was a downright disappointing one. Waitstaff werent the least bit welcoming and when our food appeared we were absolutely shocked. The proportion of ingredients that came with the black bean noodles as pictured was hilariously shameful. When politely asked if it was a mistake, the waitstaff mockingly said just mix it and walked away. Nope, what you see is what you get. We had also ordered beef brisket noodle soup which was subpar beef was tender but soup was bland. the family went to lunch. we were not greeted when we entered. we had to take the initiative and request a table. the male that never smiled or said to us, please" or thank them, a grilled and veg meal consisting of two garnel and no sweetness. when I complained, he wasn't interested. to have good customer relationships, he could have apologized as a minimum and get the cook to add a few garnels. I would have been happy. my daughter had a similar complaint. the guy should be sacked and not let go of the poor suffering customers. certainly not recommended for a price-performance ratio. hopefully, the other employees are better trained.

I wanted to eat here, but when we came to the restaurant, we were completely ignored by the waitresses. no hallo or even a friendly smile. one of the waiters grabs the menu, literally throws it on the table and goes away without word. we have both set for a few minutes with unpleasant silence and decided that it is not worth spending more time or money there than it was clear that they were not interested in serving their customers. will never go back.

eating was excellent and so authentic Chinese. we were first the only English speakers in the restaurant. some other reviews have commented a lot on the service. if they expect western service, it is not that. if they expect delicious Asian cuisine and served quite fast this is the place. we come back.

terrible service! they run down dingy place, but wanted to give it the advantage of the doubt, worst won tonn suppe I had ever had! the dumplings were ok, but no immersions of soy. had to serve our own cutlery, water, serviettes would have been happier to a food dish
