From the moment you enter the restaurant area you are ‘informed’ that your booking is only for 2 hours, then you must give up your table. To hear this message once is okay, twice is a reminder, but to spend the entire ‘2 hours’ being reminded by every waiter, and every table around you being told the same, it’s just wrong and it made out ‘relaxed’ dinner turn into something very different. We never got our main course until after 90 minutes, so then had only 30 minutes to finish it, with no time to order a desert or to even consider a shisha. Wrong food kept being brought to the table, we ordered cod and got roasted aubergine!. Food we never ordered arrived, to be sent back. Then at the 115 minute mark, yet more staff arriving to tell us to leave the table, our time was up. We made the waiter remove the service charge from our bill and left at precisely 120 minutes after arriving. And we won’t be back! Terrible experience.
it is really a shame because the food was amazing but the service was terrible. the restaurant has a policy that only allows you to be at the table for 2 hours, which we were told only at arrival… they also took 30 mins to take our order. our table was at 10 and at 12 we were not allowed to order anything else, not even another bottle of alcohol. at 12 we were also told to order the bill, so we did, and they took 1.5 hours to bring the bill to the table, without anything to drink — not even water. the servers are rude and the hospitality is absolutely inexistent, which is a shame due to the high quality of the food and the general atmosphere there.
I had a booking for 12 people the girl in the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and when I asked after 3 tries if she please could try a bit maybe speak to the manager as we have made the booking she says yea f you don’t like the way we work you can turn around and go where you came from. Never going there again that’s for sure
The food is so good but god the policy of two hours is so rude and bad … we are big spender but the staff and manager are so uneducated and poorly mannered. I went there once a year and same thing happens every time. If you have patience I highly advise but if you have any sense of self esteem stay out of momentos.
