This is a great local spot for sushi. Don't be fooled by the location of the small strip mall, the staff is friendly and the maki options are good. It isn't the best deal in town as far as prices go, but it is consistently good so in my opinion it's worth it. The service is super friendly and pretty quick depending on the crown in the restaurant at the time. The gyoza are delicious and the biggest I've ever been served in a restaurant. For the rolls, I stick with my favorites: Boston, shrimp tempura, Alaskan California, the Jenny and Osaka. The only draw back here for me is that they don't have Tuna tataki or harumaki (veggie spring rolls) as appetizer options.
The sushi maki here is outstanding! We've tried the bento box, ramen, noodles, and tempura, all of which were impressive. The quality of the meat is excellent, and the atmosphere is quite inviting. The prices are reasonable—not too high, nor too low. The staff is consistently welcoming and friendly; they usually have one server who is attentive and always pleasant. I've been coming here for decades and it remains one of my favorite spots. I've heard that if a seafood restaurant smells like an aquarium when you walk in, it's best to turn around and leave, and I can confirm that this place does not fall into that category. You won't be disappointed!
I saw the reviews and desired to give it a try and man i was disappointed, first af all walked in and it was to warm inside (specially if they are working with and serving raw food )the waitress was nice and attentive (she was the only server there)sushi chef was handling food (raw) and adjusting face mask with bare hands and not washing them afterwards, the sushi wasmediocre i could tell by the way fish was sliced (poorly and wrong) the rolls... I've seen better at supermarkets, the qualityof fish not great and fyi i used to be a sushi chef for a living that's how i notice this things!! Pricey for quality of food!
The interior of the restaurant is not impressive but the rest of the experience is. My girlfriend and I started off with a bowl of miso soup that effectively cured our hangover. Then we got 3 rolls of sushi: California roll, spicy tuna roll, Philadelphia roll. All 3 were great but our favorite was definitely the spicy tuna, so if you like spicy it's the roll for you. Our waitress was also incredibly sweet and the food came out quickly. We will definitely be returning to try new things!

Great service , out done only by the the awesome Japanese fair . Sukiyaki rocked haven't had it that good in years . No cast iron pot with wood cover but still was really good . Prices where spot on along with portions . Will definitely return . Thanks for a great experience all the way around.
The food was great and our server was the best. She was super understanding with us and our 3 boys. Made our experience very pleasant. Kid friendly place and they're very conscious of asking us if food was spicy or not. Luckily our kids love spicy.Great place.
False advertising. Imitation crab was used instead of real crab that was promised. It looked like crab stick too. I asked to be sure. Horrible upset stomach after one bite. I have never gotten sick from real crab. Waste of money and will not be returning.
5 stars, waiter was really nice, food is awesome.10/10 would recommend, the scenery is nice inside as well.
